So it turns out that I really like sewing.

ANYWAY I have been sewing and stuff for the last week, and I so far have two totally finished (and cute) shirts out of it, and three or four half-finished shirts (also cute). This is not counting the skirt, pants, tunic, and various commissions.

But now that I am not a total sewing noob, I need a better sewing machine and wow, you guys, nice sewing machines are pretty expensive.

In totally unrelated news, I really love Battlestar Galactica BUT I'M ONLY LIKE THREE-QUARTERS OF THE WAY THROUGH THE SECOND SEASON SO DON'T SPOIL ME (any more, that is) OKAY? Please and thank you.

My new computer came with the option of a free printer. We already have an emergency supply of printers in this house (seriously, if the apocalypse comes, we've got the "THE END IS NIGH" signs covered), but I ordered it anyway because, well, it was free.

You said something about needing a printer for your dorm though, right?

On an unrelated note, do you have any spare scanner cords laying about? I still have not found mine. It was lost in the move. :(

What kind of cord is it? USB or serial? And if USB what kind of USB?

USB =/= power cable

Am now researching Cannon power cables. Um. Does the bottom of the scanner say what Voltage and Amperage it uses?

Something like: #V- - -#A

Also, looking through my extra power cables has led me to finding the lost adapter for my Polaroid picture printer thing. Tiny pictures can once again be ours!
