So today was my brother's birthday. Which was cool, and the most exciting to happen today (it was a slow day) except that it totally sucked for him. And everyone else.

Also the Harry movie was OMG SO AMAZING. Even if they left a few things out, like THE ENTIRE DEPARTMENT OF MYSTERIES and some things that I would bet money are going to be important in the seventh book. But IT WAS AMAZING ANYWAY.

Also also, should I really base my summer movie-watching on a recommendation from a guy who I am completely not sure is trustworthy? I mean, he prides himself on being a master liar (and he is). But he also supposedly really likes me. Except I made him mad last week. The real question is:
Do I or do I not go see Transformers? AND WASH DO NOT EVEN SAY ANYTHING I KNOW.

I have heard nothing but good things about Transformers. I was skeptical about it at first too.. but now I think I will be going to see it as soon as I can convince someone to pay for me to go.

...You know what they say, right? When in doubt always go to your best buddy whose name is Wash who has a nice paying job that goes to the movies every weekend...and ask her to go see Transformers on Saturday June 14th after she's done with work since you'll be coming over to hang out and than you'd go to the Arizona Center because no one goes there in the first place and you'd even really get this good ass pizza they have there. OR...Hooters.

Or at least that's what I heard that's what they say. I may be wrong here.

Well, I would ordinarily listen to what they say...but I have appointments this weekend. Perhaps you misheard them--they might have said Saturday the 21st.

...wait, isn't that when DH comes out? Hmmm. Don't know if I'll be able to do that, either. OH WELL I SHALL TRY.

I liked Transformers, not just because I'm a fan (OMG SQUEE), but because the characters were all believable; the military, the awkward teenage kid who managed to be awkward and teenage without being overly annoying, and even the GIANT ROBOTS FROM OUT OF SPACE.

And, not that it should be a major point in favor of watching it, but the CG is AWESOME. You honestly can't tell that the Transformers aren't real -- that your mom's car isn't going to suddenly transform into a walking, talking, badass robot.
