i literally remember going to school and telling my friends about the word pansexual. i was like lamar there is a WORD for being ATTRACTED to people who are NOT BOYS OR GIRLS and he was like that's nice dear
i mean the way it was initially explained to me (or my internalized gender binary) was like. kind of "trans is a third gender on its own" but on the other hand...people who weren't stealth were. not really treated as anything other than a third gender. on the rare occasion i encountered them
