OMG SERENITYYY.
Jun. 24th, 2005 12:36 pmOkay, so last night, we went to go see our special advanced thingy Serenity and Nathan I can't remember his last name was there, but that's not the point, because IT WAS SO AWESOME. If you like Firrefly, you should go it it. If you like Joss, you should go see it. If you like hot not-stars, you should go see it. If you like really good special effects, you should go see it. If you like sci-fi in general, go see it. If you like movies in general, go see it. If you would like to know what the hell I am talking about, go see it. If you are a living human being with a soul, go see it. If you are a Non-living being with a soul, go see it. What I'm saying is, GO SEE IT.
Unfortunately, it is not out until September 30th. Unless you can get into an advanced screening type thing the way I did, but I don't know if there are any more or whatever, but anyway GO SEE IT. Become a Browncoat today, yo.
And now, for one really funny part that actually won't spoil anything because it wasn't even in the movie! There was this thing at the beginning where Joss was all like talking to us, and he was talking about we have to get people to come see the movie, because not that many people will come see it because "this movie doesn't have any stars" and down in one of the front rows, Nathan shouted kind of high-pitched, "WHAT?!?" Seriously, you could hear the extra punctuation. It was SO funny! He was so awesome.

monkeeness. She is no longer my cousin. You know why? Because when she took a picture with him (which only like three people got to!) she grabbed his ass! AND YOU COULDN'T TELL FROM HIS FACE. HE DID NOT CHANGE EXPRESSION. WTF, mate.
ETA: FILLION. That's it. Nathan Fillion. At least I think that's how it's spelled. I was at the very end of the autograph line, so I'm willing to bet I got hand-cramp handwriting.
He is so completely and totally my favorite (gay Canadian) celebrity. Like, completely.
